Hydrotest Training
Falcon Midstream Services offers hydrotest training for pipeline operators and contractors. Our training is not intended to teach you how to hydrotest. It is intended to teach you what is taking place throughout the hydrotesting phase of your project. The class will take a full 8 hour day and will consist of classroom discussion and direct observation activities on our test loop in our yard in Conroe, Texas.
The training course will cover the following phases of our scope of work:
-
Proving the line
-
Precleaning
-
Gauge runs
-
Filling
-
Stabilization
-
Pressure up
-
Test procedures
-
Bleed down
-
Dewatering
-

-
Water transfer
-
Smart tool runs
-
Nitrogen purging/packing
One of the most impactful parts of our training is how to avoid change orders during the hydrotesting phase of your project. We will cover:
-
How to properly scope out a hydrotesting proposal.
-
How to minimize disruptions to the flow of work.
-
Critical obligations of the operator and the contractor.
-
The impact of improper resource allocation.
The course is complimentary for all pipeline operators with whom we have Master Service Agreements and for contractors for whom we have done significant work.
